2026 Is Coming
Late October is the time of year when I start actively thinking about the upcoming year. As a digital entrepreneur I’m thinking about the following:
Conferences to attend
Business trends on the horizon
Professional development tools that I might need
Software that I could be using
Experiences and products that I could be developing
And a few other things that I’ve decided to keep off this list. The reality is that these tools and resources are valuable but they can also add up over time and become an expensive (but, important) investment in yourself and business growth.
Set Aside $250 Dollars
(For Professional Development)
By no means is this the only money that you’ll likely spend on professional development and other business tools in 2026. Instead, think of this as a starter kit for 2026. Why am I encouraging you to set aside a couple of hundred dollars right now? Or, think about side-hustling for that amount?
Because holiday sales are just around the corner! I know that my products will be on sale and I’ve spoken with other creators who will absolutely be selling many of their products and services during the holiday season. In fact, I’m going to blunt and tell you to wait until mid-November when creators (and bricks and mortar businesses) begin dropping those sales items.
Are you looking for:
Mastermind or communities to join?
Did you know that I’ve quietly launched The Creator Income Collective an affordable membership focused on helping creators grow their online income? I’m quietly adding in legacy community members right now. My goal is to hit 100 members by the end of 2025. Keep an eye out for more details in the next couple of weeks.
Courses
Coaching
Accelerators
Books
Savings codes for 2026 events-For example, you purchase an item and the creator automatically shares a savings code for an upcoming event, service, etc. That hasn’t or has been announced to the community that they serve.
Templates
Prompts for different AI tools
New previously unreleased products, etc.
This is a short-list of products that your favorite creators could end up selling during the holiday season. This is the moment to start browsing your favorite creator’s stores to get a feel for what they’re already selling and what tools, resources, etc. will help you grow your business, brand or community in 2026.
What Are You Putting On Sale?
(This Holiday Season)
The Creators Getting Paid Holiday Sales Sprint is designed to help creators think about and work through the logistics of preparing for a successful holiday sales season.
I already asked you what products you’d like to sell this year. The next question that I’d like to ask is:
What are you putting on sale this season?
Are you creating and sharing coupon codes?
Most of the tools that we use to host and sell our products have an easy mechanism to help creators design and share a sales coupon
Do you have a centralized location for your products aka “A store” LOL!
My products accidentally ended up on several platforms. I now have a centralized store for most of my products.
Are you sharing in your content that community members should be expecting sales and when they’re likely to happen?
Have you developed a pricing tier for your products that helps you to meet people where they’re at?
If you haven’t done any of that yet, I encourage you to spend the next week working on a sales plan.
Ask yourself the following questions:
What is your holiday 2025 sales goal?
What is the average price point per sale that you’re hoping for?
What does your product fulfillment process look like? Is it easy, complicated?
My goal is to help you optimize the holiday sales cycle. There’s so much going on that it’s easy to get distracted and forget about planning your holiday sales push.
