What did you do this weekend? I was at FanExpo Denver (Similar to ComicCon) Think pop-culture, fun nerd things and the best place to talk about the things you love to geek out about. Gentle reminder, I’ve adjusted when I’m sending out Creators Getting Paid. Typically you’ll receive it on Sunday and Wednesday moving forward.
Today’s post is a little shorter than usual because it’s a holiday weekend. I’m not trying to stress myself out. However, I’ve had something on my mind for awhile and wanted to talk about it.

Some Thoughts
High Ticket vs. Low-Ticket Products
As a digital content creator growing a small business you’ve probably been inundated with guidance around the idea of high-ticket and low-ticket products. In fact, I believe that all business owners should have different offerings within their businesses. In fact, last year I even talked about why every creator needs a high-ticket offering.
I truly believe that.
However, who that high ticket product is sold to is up to you. For me, the bulk of my high ticket products are positioned towards corporations, organizations, brands and non-profits.
Low-Ticket Offerings
I also deeply believe in the importance of low-ticket offerings as well. As I think about the second half 2025, it has become clear to me that I LOVE offering low-ticket products.
Low-Ticket Items That I Love
Romances-I loved writing and publishing romances and buying books from other authors.
Bougie Coffee-I love buying match lattes at the local coffee shop
Resources-that help me get to point A to point B for less than $50 bucks.
Socks-You can never have enough socks
In fact, I’m a huge fan of a creator named Liz Wilcox, she is an email marketing that I’m hoping to interview for Creators Getting Paid-wish me luck. She has made life-changing money with a $9 membership. When asked about why she’s so focused on growing her $9 membership, Liz has said (on the many podcasts episodes that I’ve listened to her on) the following:
Accessibility to her audience where they are currently at within their business.
Offer simplicity-A $9 offering is easier to deliver on vs. a $10,000 offer…for the creator
Easier to full fill customer needs and expectations
In addition to these very valid reasons, I wanted to share some of my own reasons for loving low-ticket offers.
Low financial investment for my community members. They can gain access to a community and tool that helps them grow. When I purchase more expensive products, there’s a lot of pressure for the tool to actually work! I’m not as worried with lower ticket offerings. In fact, I don’t want to worry about “attracting” a certain type of community member. I want to be in community with amazing people, building impactful communities and work-designing a better life for other people and themselves regardless of their income.
In 2025, African-American women (a large part of my community) are under increasing financial pressure due to federal policy, business changes and the financial impact of those changes on extended family. I wanted to make it easier for my community members to say “yes” to tools that can help grow a better business and brand.
Recognizing that higher ticket products may deter people from taking focused action. It’s harder to say “No” to an $8 resource that has the potential to move you towards a desired outcome a lot more quickly than going at it on your own.
I don’t want to create something that is out of reach for some of my community members because they have other financial obligations-especially given the current state of the US economy. I want Creators Getting Paid to be an easy “yes!”
Low-Ticket Offerings
Doesn’t Mean Low Quality
They often speak to a deeper commitment to serving, access and offer simplicity for the creator. I love that I’m not the only creator who feels this way from a mission and values aligned perspective.
In fact, Liz’s personal story also resonated with me because she is the financial caregiver for many households in her family. And I know that many of the people that I work with are future and current financial caregivers. Like many women, she’s having to manage more than you would expect on a personal level.
