My Creators Getting Paid Community wants to avoid doing this one thing-and I’m paying attention.
Before I share what that thing is, I do want to say that I’m talking about a large majority of the community-not everyone in the community. I don’t want people telling me that they love doing what I’m about to share.
At the heart of Creators Getting Paid is the mission to help content creators, in particular those serving others through building community and designing beautiful works and spaces find and scale a recurring income stream in their business.
I typically say at least $500 a month which is $6,000 a year as the initial “passive” earnings goal. These creators are typically already making (some) money in their brand or business by doing the following:
Coaching
Freelance writing
Running communities
Curating beautiful in-person and online events
Typically doing a lot of work that requires them to “show up” and provide some type of service.

Protecting Our Peace
Despite this willingness to “show up” many of the Creators Getting Paid community members have told me the following:
They really don’t want to coach or at least not that often.
People are looking for ways to preserve their peace.
We don’t want to be required to show up too often. Instead, we’re looking to show up when we’re at our best. Rested, refreshed and excited to be there.
We’re still willing to work and work hard. We’re just looking for ways to optimize our time and impact as we learn how we can make money in the brands and businesses we’re building through quiet work that scales.
With that in mind, I’ve decided that September’s Money Sprouts Workshop will help members find and identify the products that they could sell and grow behind the scenes in their businesses.
Fall Business Season is Here
If you’re based in the United States, you’ve hopefully just enjoyed Labor Day weekend. I’ve brought this up a couple of times in the past month-Fall Business Season is now here.
