It’s a pleasant 98 degrees today so I will stay inside to avoid roasting to death. I often joke that the summer is over for me once my birthday hits and it’s true. Tomorrow I get back to work and start preparing for Podcast Movement Denver happening on August 21-August 24.

Coming Up: Podcast Monetization Boot Camp (September)
This will be an intensive 4 week (online) monetization boot camp held in September. I will share another savings code for the bootcamp during Podcast Movement Denver with the Podcasters Getting Paid Community (but, it will cost more than the price I’m sharing today)
This Boot Camp is a great time to UNAPOLOGETICALLY ask questions related to your personal project and gain some insight into how you can monetize your work.

The goal of the Monetization Boot Camp is to help students with the following:

While I will host live workshop hours each week for the boot camp, I understand if you have to work on this outside of those times. People have kids, fur babies and work. If you have one of these products or services and you feel like it’s not working, the Boot Camp is also a great opportunity to get feedback and suggestions on products that you’ve already developed.
Week #1-Email Lists-How to develop and create an email list or newsletter that pays. I’ll cover how to write copy that engages your audience, identifying what your community needs and lessons learned from launches that don’t work (not a failure-just the wrong product)
Week #2-Developing Digital Products-We’ll work through Ebooks (non-fiction and fiction) courses and digital workshop. I’ll also discuss how to integrate these projects within your overall brand.
Week #3-Content Design-This is a HUGE part of successful monetization. I’ve mentioned content design often within Podcasters Getting Paid, in this part of the boot camp we will break down what this means, why it’s so important and what to consider when you’re designing your content.
Week #4-Social Media and SEO-I use both social media and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in very different ways. This week will break down what that looks like and what you should consider within your brand.
Week #5-Sponsorships and Brand Collaborations-I left this until last because I’m trying to get attendees to make a mental shift in their monetization strategies. My goal is to get students to think about all of the different ways they can monetize WITHOUT podcast ads. However, no monetization boot camp would be complete without the brand collaboration/sponsorship conversation-so, we will be having it.
