You Don't Need to Talk to People
One of the common threads that I’ve begun to notice in the conversations that I’m having with creators is increasing interest in monetizing without working directly with the people they’re selling to.
That’s a conversation for another day.
For today’s conversation I want to talk about printables. I’ll be honest and say that sometimes I wonder who still has a printer? Despite this area of confusion, printables are an incredible way to make money without having to work directly with people.

Building Passive Income

What I love about building “passive” income is that there are so many different approaches that you can focus on. These approaches are great because of the following reasons:
They typically don’t need YOU to be on social media
You can lean into sales and marketing vs. an influencer business model
What Are Printables?
There are so many variations of printables. Put simply, printables are digital products that are designed to be printed by the users.
Literally that’s it. I think a better way to talk about this is to share examples.

Coupons specific to a holiday or interest
Budget planner
Workbooks
Wedding Planners
Kids Chorelist
Your Chorelist
Why Sell Printables?
There are so many reasons why selling printables could be a great way to build an income stream behind the scenes of your online brand.
You can reach a broader audience utilizing platform search. By this what I mean is the platforms that you sell printables on such as Etsy.
Design products to sell when you have the time.
Printables are scalable products!
This type of product is a lot less emotional than other products. If something doesn’t sell, it doesn’t feel as personal because you’ve likely set up a faceless storefront.
