There’s no right or wrong answer to the following question “AreYou Getting Paid”? Sometimes when building a content creation business and leveraging the internet it can take awhile to grow paying results. If you have some exciting updates-definitely share them with me so that I can celebrate your recent wins!

Biggest Lesson Learned
(This Week)
Market what you’re selling, doing, excited about 10x more than you think you should. People are busy, distracted and life is “lifeing”. You’re not bother people when we’re trying to stay focused and keep things together.
Do You Need Support?
Here are the different ways that I help community members with their monetization journey.

Creators Getting Paid Podcast
31 Days of Podcasting
During the month of May I decided to challenge myself and publish a daily podcast episode. It was hard AF. Seriously, it was so freaking hard. I’m proud to announce that I completed the challenge and here’s the link to the 31 episodes that I recorded. Find the episode(s) that resonate with you and give them a listen. They’re all pretty short episodes typically between 5-12 minutes.
Don’t Forget
Last week I shared that I planned on sending a weekly update on Thursdays (but using a different tool) I don’t think community members will notice the difference beyond the styling. Why did I decide to use Beehiiv to send out my weekly update? If you’re building a community on a 3rd Party Platform such as: Threads, Substack, Facebook, etc.
What I’m about to share is important to think about when building on “rented land”
I’m wanting to protect my access to the Creators Getting Paid Community that I’m building. In the event that there’s a technical issue with the Substack platform where I host the community, I want to make sure that I’m still able to communicate with everyone. I don’t want all of my eggs in one basket.
The functionality of the Substack platform limits some of the things I would like to do behind the scenes. Beehiiv has that functionality.
Deliverability-One of the most important metrics for email and newsletter communications is “Deliverability” did the people that you wanted to contact actually receive your communication? I’m testing out whether or not Beehiiv will have better deliverability metrics than what I’m currently using.
I really really enjoy using both platforms so I’m excited to run this experiment and see how they compliment each other.
Have a beautiful week!
