Before I share ways to make money online-I want to share several ways that people have earned money and why I’m tired of all of your excuses as to why YOU can’t make money with your podcast.

Wild Ways People Have Made Money

  • Sending actual poo to people…poo that was purchased. This is weird because everybody poos and I don’t understand why you pay for something that you can get for free LOL!

  • At Art Basel 2019 three people purchased a banana duct taped to a wall for over $120k.

  • Neiman Marcus sold $66 dollar collard greens one Christmas. Collard greens are usually $1-$2 dollars a bushel/bunch. Unless Neiman Marcus has cute little Southern grandmas cooking in a kitchen somewhere-those greens weren’t good.

  • Selling bread with an alleged image of Jesus on it.

  • NFTs (too soon?)

  • Chia pets

  • Pet rocks

Given all of these ways that people have made money (some don’t make sense), my question is-why can’t your show make money too?

Tonight’s Meet and Greet

I’m hanging out with the Podcasters Getting Paid Community tonight at 7:00 pm MTN/9:00 pm EST. I would love to get an idea of what you’re doing, what you need help with and what you would be interested in from the Podcasters Getting Paid Substack. I will also share my reasoning behind creating a Substack versus a course. I hope to meet you! Keep scrolling to get to the monetization ideas

Michelle Jackson is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

30 Ways to Make Money with Your Podcast

(Plus 12 Bonus Ideas)

I’m sharing ideas but not HOW to do it because that’s what the newsletter is for. The goal is to get you thinking about what you can do with your show. Podcasting is a creative process. What I’ve found is that most creators are thinking to rigidly about how to make money with their show.

Basically, they’re ONLY considering sponsorships. But, there’s more than one way “to do a thing”

Here we go:

  1. Freelance writing-In your podcast content space. Great for building up authority, backlinks to your project while getting paid.

  2. Develop unique content or projects for your podcast or overall brand.

  3. Sponsorships

  4. Design niche specific virtual assistant services

    1. Podcast Virtual Assistant Services

    2. General Virtual Assistant Services

    3. Virtual Assistant Services for ADHD Content Creators

    4. Resource-10kVA

  5. Self-sponsor by writing e-books (fiction or non-fiction) Check out my course “Make Money with Ebooks”

  6. Leverage your 9-5 pay with the skills, network and access that you gain from podcasting.

  7. Create a course

  8. Design a supplemental product that compliments your show.
